There are two levels for disbursement of Scholarship Amount as follows: 

  • First Level:  For ground class (Maximum limit 5 Lakhs or the applicable fees whichever is lower)

  • Second Level : For flying training (Post completion of Ground Class and clearing all applicable DGCA examination) Maximum upto 45 Lakhs.

Eligibility Criteria for Enrollment (PSCET-2025-26)

PILOTCET NEW Scholarship

Commercial Pilot License (CPL)

Age: Minimum 18 years.

Educational Qualification:

  • Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics.

  • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General Category (45% for Reserved Categories).

Medical Requirements:

  • Class I Medical Certificate issued by a DGCA-approved medical examiner.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid Student Pilot License (SPL) or Private Pilot License (PPL).

Completion of at least 200 flying hours (150 hours for an integrated CPL program).

PILOT CET TAG CET

Private Pilot License (PPL)

Age: Minimum 17 years.

Educational Qualification:

  • Must have passed 10th grade or equivalent (some institutes may prefer 10+2).

Medical Requirements:

  • Class II Medical Certificate issued by a DGCA-approved medical examiner.

Other Requirements:

Completion of a minimum of 40 hours of flying, including 20 hours of solo flying.

Student Pilot License (SPL)

Age: Minimum 16 years.

Educational Qualification:

  • Must have passed 10th grade.

Medical Requirements:

  • Class II Medical Certificate issued by a DGCA-approved medical examiner.

Other Requirements:

  • Pass a basic oral exam conducted by the flight school or the DGCA.

  • Basic English communication skills.

Commercial Pilot License Eligibility

Commercial Pilots are those who are eligible to fly passengers from one place to another safely and efficiently for Commercial Airlines. The Eligibility requirements to become a Commercial Pilot in India are;

  • Your age should not be less than 17 years to begin training for CPL.

  • You must pass Class 12th standard with Mathematics, Physics and English.

  • If you are a non- science student, you may pursue the required subjects through the National Institute of Open Schooling.

  • You must have a valid DGCA Medical Certificate.
